So People I Adore...

You know, there are only few people I really adore... adore for a long time now - in a good way of course :)
Some of them (in particular THE one, a very special one :) ) really changed my life... it's not a joke and maybe someone might think how can anyone change anyone's life not even being next to this person, not even knowing this person - but it does happen sometimes and it did happen to me :)
So, here's my list:

1. ULTIMATE number ONE is Kylie Minogue

The ultimate number one for me for many years now (to be exact - almost 11 years). Yes, she is THAT one ^-^.

I just adore her, not only because of her looks, but because of her heart, the way she behaves, the way she speaks, the way she communicates with people, the way SHE IS.

Kylie Ann Minogue is an Australian pop singer, songwriter, and actress. After beginning her career as a child actress on Australian television, she achieved recognition through her role in the television soap opera Neighbours, before commencing her career as a recording artist in 1987. Her first single, "Locomotion", spent seven weeks at number one on the Australian singles chart and became the highest selling single of the decade. Her debut album, Kylie (1988), and the single "I Should Be So Lucky", each reached number one in the United Kingdom, and over the next two years, her first 13 singles reached the British top ten. Initially presented as a "girl next door", Minogue attempted to convey a more mature style in her music and public image. Her single, "Confide in Me", reached number one in Australia and was a hit in several European countries in 1994, and a duet with Nick Cave, "Where the Wild Roses Grow", brought Minogue a greater degree of artistic credibility. Drawing inspiration from a range of musical styles and artists, Minogue took creative control over the songwriting for her next album, Impossible Princess (1997). Kylie returned to prominence in 2000 with the single "Spinning Around" and the dance-oriented album Light Years, and she performed during the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2000 Sydney Olympics. "Can't Get You Out of My Head" reached number one in more than 40 countries, and the album Fever (2001) was a hit throughout the world, including the United States. Kylie Minogue was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005. After surgery and chemotherapy treatment, she resumed her career in 2006 with Showgirl: The Homecoming Tour. Her tenth studio album X was released in 2008 and was followed by the KylieX2008 tour. In 2009, she went on her For You, For Me Tour, first concert tour of the United States and Canada, and the following year released her eleventh studio album, Aphrodite. The album debuted at number one in the UK charts, exactly twenty two years after her first UK number one hit. Kylie has now achieved five consecutive number one spots on the chart for her last five releases - including her collaboration with Taio Cruz on the track, "Higher".
In 2011, Minogue embarked on the Aphrodite World Tour, traveling to Europe, North America, Asia, Australia and Africa.
She has achieved worldwide record sales of more than 70 million, and has received notable music awards, including multiple ARIA and Brit Awards and a Grammy Award. She is the first, and to date, the only artist in UK and Australian chart history to have number one albums across four consecutive decades (1980's, 90's, 2000's and 2010s)
In 2011, Minogue was awarded an honorary Doctor of Health Science (D.H.Sc.) degree by Anglia Ruskin University in the United Kingdom of for her work in raising awareness for breast cancer.
On 27 November 2011, on the twenty-fifth anniversary of the ARIA Music Awards, Kylie Minogue was inducted by the Australian Recording Industry Association into the ARIA Hall of Fame.

To tell the truth, only after Kylie was diagnosed with breast cancer, I started to care for it... I mean, I started buying things for charity, donating money in different stores in the US and back here in Ukraine for cancer awareness and treatment. This I call the "good influence" :)

THANK YOU, Kylie!

2. Roger Federer

Hot? - Yes; Smart? - Yes; Sweet? - Yes; Caring? - Yes; Polite? - Yes... Is there an answer "no" to anything? - Yes, only to bad things ;)

Man, this is THE MAN! Yes, he is handsome and popular, but there's more than that about Roger - this catches me at least :) and his wife Mirka... and his million army of fans :D

Roger Federer (born 8 August 1981) is a Swiss professional tennis player, having previously held the number one position for a record 237 consecutive weeks. Many sports analysts, tennis critics, former and current players consider Federer to be the greatest tennis player of all time (The G.O.A.T.). Federer has won 16 Grand Slam singles titles, more than any other male player. He is the last of six male players to have captured the career Grand Slam, one of only three since the beginning of the Open Era and one of only two male players in history to have won all four Grand Slam titles on three different surfaces (clay, grass and hard courts). Federer has appeared in an unprecedented 23 career Grand Slam finals, holds the record of reaching the semifinals or better of 23 consecutive Grand Slam tournaments over five and a half years from the 2004 Wimbledon Championships through the 2010 Australian Open. At the 2011 US Open, he reached a record 30th consecutive Grand Slam quarterfinal. Roger also holds the record of reaching 10 consecutive Grand Slam finals. He has won a record 6 ATP World Tour Finals and 18 ATP Masters Series tournaments (second all-time). He also won the Olympic gold medal in doubles with his compatriot Stanislas Wawrinka at the 2008 Summer Olympic Games. He spent eight years (2003–2010) continuously in the top 2 in the year-end rankings and nine (2003–2011) in the Top 3, also a record among male players.
Because of Federer's past accomplishments and continued successes, he is often called The Federer Express or abbreviated to Fed Express, the Swiss Maestro or simply Maestro.
In 2011, he was voted the second most trusted and respected human in the world, second only to Nelson Mandela.

3. This place is still vacant ;)
