Kylie Who? Kylie Of The Minogue In Charlie Hides' Video Parody!

Charlie Hides is well known for his super funny parody videos, including Cher, Madonna and other pop divas, but also as a huge fan of miss Kylie Minogue. Well, sometimes nice asking helps ;) "Hey Kyles, I'd LOVE you to be in one of my videos", and look, here she IS!

Kylie Whooo? is the name of the latest masterpiece, a short video dialogue between Kylie and "Cher" that will make you laugh from the moment it starts until the very last seconds!

P.S. do NOT forget the "out takes" - that is, as always, the cherry on top! ;)

P.P.S.:

Kylie Minogue Confirms 2014 Tour Plans

Kylie Minogue is on the mission to tour in support of her 12th studio album, which is due to be released later this/earlier next year: "Touring for me is the best".

"Touring and interacting with fans remains Kylie’s first love, and promoters are lining up to be involved with next year's gigs," a source told The Mirror, "as well as dates across the UK and Europe, Kylie will also play her native Australia. At the moment, there are no concerts in America being lined up. She has already had loads of ideas and this will be a no-expense-spared tour with lots of pyrotechnics, dancers, special effects and a few surprises – including her wardrobe."

Kylie herself confirmed the tour plans on Twitter, although she made it clear that "shocking people" is not her plan (well, quite sure surprising is, as always ;):

The Australian pop icon has been recording the new material in USA after she was signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation earlier this year: "Kylie has been working on some great material and is really happy with the new musical direction her stuff is taking. It is still distinctly Kylie but with a fresh, more electro-urban twist".

Kylie's buzz single Skirt was dropped to celebrate her 45th Birthday on May, 28th and has been really buzzing since, making its way up on the Billboard Dance/Club Play Chart (already up to #17 in its 3rd week). Although in one of the recent interviews, the singer reassured that her album "is not going to be all like that", adding that "it would have some sparkle, some sex, some insouciance... And joy – that's what I would hope. That's what people tell me..."

Meanwhile, Kylie has been back in Europe for a little vacation, enjoying the sun and the sea, flaunting what she was truly blessed with and sharing it all with her dear fans via Instagram and Twitter ;)

That is all for now - stay tuned ;)

My New York City: NYC Restaurants In Famous Movies

New York City is one of the most popular cities in the world to film the movies. So it is not a surprise that movie characters, just like normal people, actually EAT and DRINK ;) thus, NYC restaurants, cafe and bars become "normal" places for actors to be filmed at.
Here you can find some of the most famous dining/drinking spots and their addresses in New York City that maybe YOU want to visit one day ;)

Place: '21' Club
Movies: North by Northwest, One Fine Day, Wall Street, Manhattan Murder Mystery, How to Save a Marriage and Ruin Your Life, The Bronx Is Burning, All About Eve, Valley of the Dolls, Sabrina, Written on the Wind, How to Marry a Millionaire, Week-End at the Waldorf, Lady Be Good & more

21 Club is located on 21 West 52nd Street, New York City. Big shots have been coming to '21' Club ever since it opened as a speakeasy in 1930. Humphrey Bogart, Joan Crawford and Frank Sinatra were regulars, and it's been said that more movies have been filmed here than any other restaurant in NYC. The exterior, with its iconic row of jockey statuettes, is a sight in and of itself. Inside, it's clubby, old-world New York, with a dress code strictly enforced (jackets are required; jeans and sneakers are not permitted).

Place: Cafe Lalo
Movie: You've Got Mail

In the film 'You've Got Mail,' when Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks arranged to meet for the first time after enjoying plenty of online flirtation, they picked Cafe Lalo for their meeting place.
The restaurant is located at 201 West 83rd Street in New York City.

Place: Zabar's
Movie: You've Got Mail

The scene filmed at Zabar’s makes Manhattan seem more normal by showing New Yorkers actually going to the grocery store.

Place: Katz's Delicatessen
Movies: Donnie Brasco, Across the Universe, Enchanted, We Own the Night, When Harry Met Sally, Saturday Night Fever
The restaurant has been featured in many movies and is located on 205 East Houston Street, New York City.

Place: Gray's Papaya
Movies: Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, Die Hard with a Vengeance, You've Got Mail, Down to Earth, Fools Rush In, The Back-Up Plan
The famous New York hot dog restaurant Gray's Papaya is located at the intersection of West 72nd Street and Broadway and has been featured in a number of films.
It is located on 2090 Broadway (between 72nd St & 73rd St), New York City.

Place: Veselka
Movie: Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist

In the movie, the main characters make their way to various New York City hotspots. One such location is Veselka, a Ukrainian restaurant located at 144 2nd Avene in the East Village.

Place: Russian Tea Room
Movies: Manhattan, When Harry Met Sally, Smurfs
The red-and-gold dining room of the Russian Tea Room is famous among food people - for both its Russo-American fare and its luxe, special-occasion atmosphere - and movie people alike. It's made appearances in films including When Harry Met Sally and Smurfs, but it's in Woody Allen's Manhattan that the Midtown restaurant shines, when Allen's in-love-with-a-much-younger-woman Isaac takes his son to the restaurant.
It is located on 150 West 57th Street, New York City.

Place: Café Noir
Movie: Unfaithful
SoHo restaurant Café Noir serves killer sangria and sets the scene for plenty of tapas-filled birthday parties and paella-soaked date nights. It's also the location where Diane Lane meets friends for lunch and ends up having a secret tryst in the bathroom with Olivier Martinez. Well, the action didn't actually go down in the bathroom, but you're meant to think it did. It is located on 32 Grand St., SoHo, Manhattan

Place: Mulberry Street Bar
Movies: Donnie Brasco, The Godfather: Part III, The Sopranos
Undercover cop Donnie Brasco makes the biggest mistake of his life when he convinces mobster Lefty Ruggiero to take him under his wing after drinks at a Little Italy bar. The film returns again and again to the bar. If the bar looks familiar, it's because it's a classic film location: “The Godfather: Part III” and “The Sopranos” were also filmed at the Mulberry Street Bar. Located at 176 Mulberry Street, New York City.

Place: Sardi's
Movies: Muppets Take Manhattan, The King of Comedy, No Way to Treat a Lady

Sardi's has long been the preferred haunt of movie and Broadway stars, the place where hot acts would hang post-curtain call. However, one of the most famous patrons in some people's eyes may be Kermit the Frog. In Muppets Take Manhattan, Kermit swans in, desperate to look debonair, and sneakily hangs his portrait in place of Liza Minnelli's in order to gain credibility as a show producer. The icon just happens to stroll in and becomes chagrined to find she's been replaced by "a frog". The frog's prop picture is presently located near the bathrooms.

Place: Serendipity 3
Movie: Serendipity

"Serendipity" (the movie) is all about chance encounters, and Serendipity (the restaurant) is just one of several places where John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale’s characters meet up, flirt and then refuse to exchange phone numbers, leaving their next encounter up to fate.
The restaurant is located on 225 East 60th Street, New York City and the confusing number 3 at the end of the restaurant name refers to the number of founders, btw.

Hope you enjoyed! :)

My Europe: Hamburg - The River City (Germany, Part I)

Hello peeps!

This year I had an amazing time traveling in Europe and seeing some of the most beautiful cities it can offer. One of my stops was the gorgeous "river"-city of Hamburg, Germany, and I would like to share my experience with you by blogging a little bit about it and sharing pictures I took ;)

I can easily say that it is for sure one of the most exciting cities I have ever been to: it is joyful and bright during the day and as bright and beautiful during the night, and I can now understand why natives say that it is "the most beautiful city in the World" ;)

A little bit of facts: Hamburg is the 2nd largest city in Germany and the 6th largest city in the European Union. The city itself is a home to over 1.8 mln people, while the Hamburg Metropolitan Region has more than 5 mln people. Situated on the river Elbe, the port of Hamburg is the 2nd largest port in Europe (after the Port of Rotterdam) and 10th largest worldwide.

You'd be amazed to see how much the river Elbe has influenced the city and how basically almost everything there is centered around it.

 Speicherstadt - warehouse district
Hamburg has architecturally significant buildings in a wide range of styles and only a few skyscrapers. Churches are important landmarks, such as St. Nicholas's church. The skyline of Hamburg features the tall spires of the most important churches (Hauptkirchen): St. Michael's Church, St. Peter's Church, St. James's (St. Jacobi) and St. Catherine's Church covered with copper plates, and of course the Heinrich-Hertz-Turm, the radio and television tower (no longer publicly accessible).

The Gothic Revival Church of St. Nicholas (German: St.-Nikolai-Kirche) was formerly one of the 5 Lutheran Hauptkirchen (main churches) in Hamburg.

It is now in ruins, serving as a memorial and an important architectural landmark. The church was the tallest building in the world from 1874 to 1876 and is still the second-tallest building in Hamburg.

St. Michael's Church (German: Hauptkirche Sankt Michaelis), is one of Hamburg's 5 Lutheran main churches and the most famous church in the city.

It is dedicated to the Archangel Michael. A large bronze statue, standing above the portal of the church shows the archangel conquering the devil.
Offering 2,500 seats, the Michel is the largest church in Hamburg. The 132-meter high Baroque spire offers an excellent view over the city and the harbor, can be climbed, but there also is a lift.

St. Peter's Cathedral (German: Hauptkirche St. Petri) is on the site of many former cathedrals.

Built by order of Pope Leo X, it has been a Protestant cathedral since the Reformation and its congregation forms part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Northern Germany.

The best known artworks in St Peter's are the lion-head door handles, located in the left wing of the west portal. However, the cathedral contains many additional works of art.

St. Catherine's Church (German: St. Katharinen) of Hamburg.

The base of its spire, dating from the 13th century, is the second oldest building preserved in the city, after the lighthouse on Neuwerk island.

It is situated on an island near what was formerly the southern boundary of the medieval city, opposite the historic harbor area on the Elbe river. It traditionally served as the church of the seamen.

The many streams, rivers and canals in Hamburg are crossed by over 2300 bridges, more than London, Amsterdam and Venice put together.

Europe's largest inner-city development (as of 2008), the Hafen City (1) . The plan includes designs by Rem Koolhaas and Renzo Piano. The Elbe Philharmonic Hall (2) (Elbphilharmonie), expected to be completed by 2015, will house concerts in a building on top of an old warehouse.

One of the spots I fell in love at first sight with is Blankenese area of Hamburg.
Blankenese has a long history as a fishing village along the Elbe River. Blankenese is a former independent town, now a suburban quarter in the borough Altona in the western part of the city. It is located on right bank of the Elbe river.
Now it is a very expensive property area with cute little houses along narrow pedestrian streets.

And the stunner of the city - The Hamburg Rathaus.

It is the city hall of Hamburg. It is the seat of the government of Hamburg, located in the Altstadt quarter in the city center. Constructed from 1886 to 1897, the city hall still houses its original governmental functions with the office of the First Mayor of Hamburg and the meeting rooms for Hamburg's parliament and senate.

After the old city hall was destroyed in the great fire of 1842, it took almost 44 years to build a new one. On October 26, 1897 at the official opening ceremony the First Mayor Dr. Johannes Versmann received the key of the city hall.

The city hall has a total area of 17,000 m2 (182,986 sq ft). The tower is 112 meters (367 ft) high with 436 steps. The city hall has 647 rooms, six rooms more than Buckingham Palace, on a building area of 5,400 m2 (58,125 sq ft).
The balcony is surmounted by a mosaic of Hamburg's patron goddess Hammonia. The courtyard is decorated with a Hygieia fountain. Hygieia as the goddess of health in Greek mythology and its surrounding figures represents the power and pureness of the water. It was built in remembrance of the cholera epidemic in 1892, the former technical purpose was air cooling in the city hall.

Oh yeah, by the way,  when in Hamburg, do not forget to:
1. take a Ferry (just along the city line, or at least to the Blankenese area ;)
2. go up the St. Michael's Church
3. take the elevated train and
4. have fun pretending to be the Beatles ;)

All in all - have the best time you can - Hamburg definitely won't leave you unsatisfied! ;)

I would like to thank my dear friend Sarah and her family for making my Hamburg experience unforgettable by being the BEST tour guide EVER! Love you girl!
And Wikipedia, because I wouldn't know all the numbers and stuff, you know ;D

Thanks everyone and hope I made you wanna go to Hamburg ;)

Martina Hingis Becomes One Of The Youngest Members To Be Inducted Into Hall Of Fame

Martina Hingis has been inducted into the Tennis Hall of Fame, becoming one of the youngest members to join in one of the sport's most elite clubs.

The 32-year-old Swiss star was among a distinguished class of inductees who were formally inducted at Newport, Rhode Island. She became the 4th youngest player to be inducted, following Tracy Austin (30), Bjorn Borg (31) and Hana Mandlikova (32).

Martina told the crowd she was humbled by the honor: "Thank you, tennis. You gave me the world... and now I honestly am out of words, because there are no words to explain what I feel. You chose to give me a place here for eternity."

Born in Czechoslovakia, Hingis announced her arrival on the world stage when she won the 1993 French Open junior title at just 12 years of age. She turned professional two weeks before her 14th birthday and went on to achieve a series of youngest-ever records.
Hingis won 5 grand slam singles titles - the 1997, 1998 and 1999 Australian Opens, 1997 Wimbledon and 1997 U.S. Open - and held the number one ranking for 209 weeks.
She also won 9 grand slam doubles titles and a mixed doubles title before injuries forced her into early retirement at the age of 22.

Stan Smith, president of the International Tennis Hall of Fame, said Hingis was a worthy recipient: "Having achieved world number 1 status in both singles and doubles and having won an incredible 15 grand slam tournament titles, Martina Hingis is undoubtedly one of the world's elite tennis players, and we are glad to pay tribute to her among the legends of the sport," Smith said.

Hot Celebrities And Their As Hot Siblings

We know these celebrities for their good looks as much as for what they do. But they also have very good looking siblings ;)
So here we go: sisters and brothers together!

Kylie and Dannii Minogue:

Kylie Minogue is like a living Goddess of Pop music who's been around for over 25 years, and her sister, Dannii, is not far away, especially when it comes to looks ;)
Together they are like two sunshines.

Beyonce and Solange Knowles:

Beyonce Knowles has fame and fortune, but her sister Solange isn't doing too bad for herself either. She's a sassier version of her older sis, in terms of looks and musical talent.

Mary-Kate, Ashley, and Elizabeth Olsen:

Mary-Kate and Ashley were all the rage when they were little kids, but now Elizabeth Olson is stealing the spotlight.
The younger Olsen sister has gained critical acclaim for her acting roles and she's also an attractive one.

James and Dave Franco:

Did you know that James Franco has a younger brother?
Dave Franco is an actor as well, and he's basically a cuter and tinier version of his bro ;)

Emma and Alex Watson:

Harry Potter star Emma Watson is becoming more and more attractive as she ages, but so is her brother.
Alex Watson is now a fashion model and instantly became a teen heartthrob.

Miley and Brandi Cyrus:

Miley Cyrus has been in a phase where she wants to look like a punk rocker. In the meantime, her sister Brandi has transformed into a real cutie!

Blake and Eric Lively:

Blake Lively is hot, so it's hard to imagine that her sibling could be even hotter.
Well, it's hard to judge who's more attractive, but actor Eric Lively is definitely one handsome man ;)

Michelle and Dedee Pfeiffer:

You probably had no idea that Michelle Pfeiffer even had a sister.
Dedee Pfeiffer is actually an actress who has made a number of guest appearances on TV shows.

Penélope and Mónica Cruz:

It's hard to top the looks of an award winning actress, Penélope Cruz, but her own sister is one tough competition. In fact, Mónica Cruz looks fairly similar to her older sis.

Adam and Michael Levine:

Singer Adam Levine is the lead singer of Maroon 5, and his good looks have driven the crowd wild for years. However, his younger brother Michael has been gifted with a handsome face too!

Kate and Oliver Hudson:

Kate Hudson just has that fun and spirited glow that makes her so attractive. Her lesser-known brother Oliver Hudson is also an actor, and he has that same happy-go-lucky look.

Justin and Sebastian Theroux:

Justin Theroux has been acting for years, but he finally stepped into the spotlight when he started dating Jennifer Aniston. It turns out that his younger brother Sebastian is a total stud.

Gisele and Patricia Bundchen:

Who would have guessed that supermodel Gisele Bundchen would have a similarly attractive sister.
Patricia Bundchen is a definite natural beauty.

Hilary and Haylie Duff:

Hilary is the youngest sister of two, an established teen idol, famous for her roles as well as her music. Although her sister is also known for her acting, and both of them are beauties.

Hope you enjoyed! :)
Let us know if you'd like to see anyone else in this list ;)
Thanks ChaCha for inspiration and information!
