What a great Saturday it was!! Superb performance by Maestro tonight! As almost always, slow start, getting into the game, but it didn't take long for Roger this time - and in time - because his opponent this time wasn't someone, it was Andy Murray and that means no time for many errors!!
Murray had his chance to break at 15-40 in the sixth game of the first set, but two unforced errors on the backhand side saw one of his few opportunities on the night disappear.
Andy did manage to break back in 2nd set after Roger was leading 3:2 and serving, but The King was at his very best tonight, starving for the title and broke Andy again!
Roger finished the match with a 7:5 6:4 victory ;)
It is Roger's 5th Dubai title, 2nd title this year, 72nd title in all and 102nd final!!
Amazing game and major congratulations to The Greatest Tennis Player Of All Times!
P.S. The crowd was just unbelievable and rooting for Roger so loud - nothing compares!!
