It is the documentary charting the success of Mike Stock, Matt Aitken and Pete Waterman, the songwriting and record-producing trio who scored more than 100 top 40 hits in the 1980s and 90s, including a string of number ones, with acts including Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan and Rick Astley and earning an estimated £60 million (about $103.78 million). Featuring contributions by Waterman, Simon Cowell, Sinitta, Pete Burns, Sonia, Steps and many more.

A reunion concert event called Hit Factory Live was cancelled due to weather conditions... It was scheduled to take place in Hyde Park, London in July 2012 featuring many of the acts associated with Pete Waterman's record labels, including Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan who were due to reunite after 23 years!
